Diamond Rattan Chair

The Diamond Rattan Dining Chair, with its open weave design and modern shape, was created with laid back, resort-style living in mind. The long awaited dining chair is an update to the original lounge style Diamond Rattan Chair. We collaborated with talented craftspeople from the north shore of Java in Indonesia to give this classic material a fresh update.

Drawing from European designs from the 1960s, our hand-woven chairs are created with sustainable rattan harvested from Indonesia’s rattan capitals, the islands of Sulawesi and Kalimantan. The modern linear pattern created within the weave of the Diamond Chair elevates the design of this long-beloved material. The natural texture of the rattan beautifully juxtaposes with its sleek and incredibly durable iron base. 

Each traditionally woven chair takes several days to weave, made start to finish by hand in small batches.
